Stephanie Kang is a curator, artist, and art historian.

Stephanie Kang specializes in contemporary art with a focus on new media art and theory. Her research examines video and performance works that reimagine the possibilities for a queer future. She received her MFA in Visual Art from Washington University in St. Louis and her PhD in the History of Art at the Ohio State University. She has curated several exhibitions and was most recently an assistant curator at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati. As an artist, her visual works have also been exhibited at venues and institutions like the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, the Urban Institute for Contemporary Art, and the Athens Digital Arts Festival.

She is currently an assistant professor of art history at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.
